Through unrestricted funds, the COD Foundation ensures students have the resources they need to succeed.
Education is about individual achievement and shaping the future of the Coachella Valley. Many of the region’s nurses who care for you and your loved ones, first responders who protect our community, and chefs who create your favorite meals received their education on the College of the Desert campus. Many were able to stay in school because of the generosity of people like you.
Community colleges in California are designed to be affordable, but many students still struggle with financial barriers. We don’t believe a $1000 textbook should end a dream. Certification fees shouldn’t stand in the way of a career. For nursing students, who don’t have the time to work due to their vigorous coursework, we make sure things work out.
